Basecamp Dogs was built by two experienced dog handlers who understand how dogs think, move, and communicate.

After years working in the pet industry, we’ve seen firsthand that most dogs aren’t getting what they actually need: enough movement, structure, and time outside. Short walks and crowded group outings often leave dogs overstimulated rather than fulfilled.

We believe dogs are meant to be outside exploring, moving, and spending time in their natural environment.

That’s why we keep our groups small and our approach intentional. By limiting our hikes to just a few dogs at a time, we’re able to create safe, structured adventures where dogs can move freely, build confidence, and return home calm and content.
